§ 5-17. Prohibited in food establishments.

  • No animal whether on a leash or without leash, muzzled or unmuzzled shall be permitted at any time to enter a store in the village where food for human consumption is sold or held for sale, and it shall be the duty of the owner or manager of such store to post a sign in a conspicuous place and manner appraising animal owners that no animals are permitted within the premises.
