§ 9-7. Certain zoning districts.

  • (a)

    No fence or hedge on any parcel of land in any private recreation zoning district (PR) abutting any RS-1, RS-2, or RS-3 zoning district, or on any parcel of land in any RS-1, RS-2, or RS-3 zoning district abutting any private recreation (PR) zoning district shall be erected or maintained which shall unreasonably restrict or block the view from adjoining parcels of land.

    (b)

    For this purpose, no fence with more than twenty-five (25) percent opaqueness will be allowed within thirty (30) feet of the rear lot line if located on or adjacent to the side property line or twenty (20) feet if located ten (10) feet from the side property line. If a pool or accessory building is built, the respective distances should be changed to twenty (20) and ten (10) feet, respectively.
